Ron McConathy
My passion for photography began with a Brownie Hawkeye camera given to me when I was a teenager. Through the years, I've improved my equipment and practiced technique and composition by taking lots of classes and making lots of images. I now use Canon 35mm digital equipment. The quality of today’s digital images is impressive, and I love the immediacy of digital photography. I feel my photography has improved significantly from the switch to digital.
I hope you'll take time to look at the images on this web site. Send me an email if you like something or want to ask questions about how or where the photo was made.

For the 25 years of our marriage, Ron has patiently taught me about photography, and I too find much joy in being out in our natural world taking pictures.
We frequently work together to create images. Collaborating brings two viewpoints that often result in compositions that make a much better final image. I, too, love digital photography, and you'll find a number of my photos on this site. Let us know about your experiences. We would love to hear from you.
If you are looking for photo workshops, consider those led by Tom and Pat Cory of Cory Nature Photography. Check out their current schedule at their web site.
